Go to My Account at the top of any page to sign up. It's easy, secure, and free.

 

Select your primary purpose for ordering. No matter which purpose you choose you can order any screening ESS has to offer.

 

Your username is the email address you would like to use for your ESS account. Create your password, and you are good to go.

 

If you represent a business with a Tax ID number or EIN, you will have the option at sign-up to be invoiced monthly.

Order Your Search

After sign-up, choose from many cost-saving screening package and a la carte screening options on the Home Page, including an Instant Criminal Record Check and Instant Incarceration Record Check. Your other available screening options are categorized by Tenant/Buyer Screening; Employment/Volunteer Screening; and Litigation/Investigation Screening.
 

If you have a prospective tenant/buyer or employee/volunteer to screen, invite them to order and pay for the screening you select – report results go to you. All you need is their name and email. Click Invite Now on the Home Page for either scenario to begin.

 

To order any screening from one of the Tenant/Buyer, Employment/Volunteer, or Litigation/Investigation screening categories, click Order Here on the Home Page for your desired screening category, then Order Now for your desired screening search. Or order via the respective links in the footer. Payment is by credit or debit card, or invoice if you are a business with a Tax ID number or EIN and selected this option at sign-up.

 

An onscreen message lets you know your order is successful. You get a confirmation email as well.

 

If you wish to order the Instant Criminal Record Check or Instant Incarceration Record Check on yourself or others, click Order Here on the Home Page for either scenario to begin. Payment is by debit or credit card only. Cost-effective Volume Discounts are available for anyone prepaying in bulk.

If your purpose for ordering is a tenant/buyer or employment/volunteer screening, you will need to attest you have the individual's written authorization to perform the screening on file to comply with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requirements. Any required release/consent form can be easily uploaded at the time of order and is available via FCRA/Releases.

 

 

Clear Emailed Report

Most results are sent to your email same day, within 1-3 business hours. Instant Record Check results appear instantly onscreen and are sent instantly to your email. Education, employment verifications, and onsite countywide and statewide criminal record checks as well as Canadian credit, criminal, and other International criminal record checks might take 1-2 business days or longer and are emailed.

 

All your ESS screening reports are stored in your ESS account for 30 days so you can view, download, forward, print, save and review at your convenience.
